....but this one includes a huge dragonfly larva that it had just snatched from the shallows at Sevenoaks Reserve.
Much to my surprise it threw it away quite quickly.
Too far away really but pleased to capture this Creeper. A few yards from this spot I was pleasantly surprised to realise that my ancient ears can still register the sound of a Goldcrest which eventually came into view for quite a while but was so active and fidgety that I didn't register a shot.
Spent a while trying to capture a pair of these as they busied themselves searching for food and occasionally displaying/interacting with each other at Sevenoaks Reserve yesterday in some rare sunshine.
Saw a small bunch of Siskins with a few Redpolls at Sevenoaks Reserve today - also flushed a Woodcock which was a first for me there.
Didn't quite get the shots I was hoping for - fidgety critters, dappled shade, pain in the neck ... literally, so these will have to do for now.
