I have never been able to take decent shots of ducks but a recent realisation that I need to add positive EC, not negative has resulted in some much better images. Not a great shot but a significant improvement on what I was getting up until a couple of weeks ago.
Well not exactly on the tiles, but on the roof.
I took this shot because it was such an unusal habitat for this pair of Shelducks.
I couldn't get any nearer so not quite the usual picture quality.
I love photographing the Shelduck at Martinmere because although they are wild birds they are really quite tame. Another in my flower series. White daisies to compliment a white Shelduck.
I haven't taken many flight shots, so while things were a bit quiet at Martin Mere on my latest visit I thought I would try a few. For some reason this Shelduck was chasing everything in sight and giving me plenty photographic opportunities.
well folks spent a few hours around mere sands wood on monday morning, great place to visit, spotted this colourful fella from the cyril gibbons hide,it gives amazing low views across the lake, hope you like, john.
