Another image from the weekend. Have not been on the forum for a few days due to weather and decorating. So sorry for all those wonderful images I have missed.

Another shot of one of the many Shelducks at Minsmere on Sunday. I worked out that this one is a drake, as it has the large basal knob on its bill. I'm quite chuffed about that! Ron

Could have done with a faster shutter speed.

Wanted more shots like this but the water kept getting disturbed by other birds swimming around. As you can see the reflection is still not quite perfect though, would have made me a lot happier if it were. PS thank you to everyone who commented on my last three pics. :t:

Been playing around with framing a few shots to print and hang on the wall at home, I think it does make a difference from the usual white edges.

I find these guys very striking - one of my favourites.
