Whimbrel against the wind
A Eurasian Whimbrel with its wings slightly lifted due to the strong headwind. It was seen wintering in the coast of Khanh Hoa, Vietnam and was patient enough to let me approach it.- ike61095

Ring-Billed Gull with one leg? - 8/4/24 - Spruce Run Reservoir - New Jersey - USA
I was a reservoir photographing Ring-billed Gulls and I noticed something odd about a certain individual. It seems to have one leg absent from it when it was photographed. American Oystercatcher scavenging for food

Short-billed Dowitcher ?? February 29, 2004 Hawaii
The bird in the foreground is slightly smaller than its companion. The bill is slightly shorter. The posture when feeding is not as football-ish. The loral angle is greater. The tail of this bird (on the left in the flight shot) is paler. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks.- Shorebirdidiot

A new lifer for me — Common Sandpiper
