I saw these in August of 2020 in Epanomi lagoon, near Thessaloniki. Maybe not the best time for shorebirds, but there were a few around.
If you know what any of these are, please specify the number of the picture!
1 and 2 is the same individual, I think kentish plover? But not 100% sure
3 some...
Managed to catch him just as he took flight. Not great focus due to the distance from him and the motion of the boat on the water. Still, I am happy I caught him in flight.
Black crowned night-heron on Lake Powell rocks near Lone Rock, showing white streak feather across back
Not as clear as I would like but we were quite a ways away and on a boat rocking with the water.
This bird was seen at Glenn Haven, Michigan, a goest town in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The Dunlin is a fairly common shorebird around the world but I was excited at my first seeing them at age 64. Funny how I missed so much when my eyes were closed.
Early morning at the lagoon, Tigertail Beach, Marco Island Florida. Fantastic light and a host of confiding waders. This Marbled Godwit got spooked by a Great White Egret landing close by and went into takeoff mode a few yards from me.
The piping plover in the Great Lakes area (where photo was taken) is an endangered species and the Northern Great Plains and Atlantic coast piping plovers are threatened species.

Pluvier semipalm
The only individual of this species I could find last Sunday on the shore of Choinire reservoir. We would normally expect to see hundreds of them at this time of year.
