    We had a great time at Lake Tkern. Lots of great birds and plenty of sunshine though there was an icy wind and frost on the grass in the mornings.

    Saw a few Skylarks at Ardmore Point, nice but no great surprise. But then I saw one skulking behind a lamppost in Helensburgh the following day. It flew off but I found 2 in a large garden nearby.
