We have had a fair bit of snow these past two days so popped up my fave site for Skylarks after work today to see if I could get something. Its a bit hazy but the front element had a lot of snow on it as it was windy.
My many thanks to all for wishing a speedy recovery on my back im pleased to say its much better than it was and im looking forward to going out again when weather improves (which gives me another weeks rest) its a pleasure to sit and view once more with very little pain thanks to all.
I rarely get a decent view of these guys on the ground (normally I fruitlessly scan the sky above me!) but a few were hopping about here right on the beach edge.
No it's not Dead just having a wee sleep, A old photo but one of my Favourites, It came to the surface while sorting out old files It brought a smile to my Face, Great memories.
A lark flock of Skylarks has been inhabiting RSPB Salthome for the last few days and providing good photo opportunities from the Wildlife Watchpoint hide.
I stood like a statue waiting for these little gems to approach. The tide ebbed in closer and closer and my hands lost all feeling with the cold as they arrived! lol
