I have just changed to Microsoft 7, which is very different to Vista for handling photos. So, I am still trying to get use to the different working patterns!

Always nice getting this bird. Am I correct they are getting rare in the UK? They are vey common on pasture in NZ.

Here in NZ we are just starting the breeding season territory chasing with the skylarks. Two others were chaing this bird.

Towards the end of a long day photographing the Yellow Wagtail, I was surprised that this timid bird decided to land right in front of me, on the dung heap; I think it wanted some of the attention! :) http://www.tomcharles-photography.co.uk/pipitsandlarks.htm

Taken from car window (camera only) at RSPB Elmley, he was sat on the track but moved to the side, hoping to blend away from view.

Had a couple of these along the road at Salthouse recently. Great to get close to.

one of my favorite birds reminds me when i was a boy sadly in decline

Taken near the coast at Weybourne. This field must have at least 10 pairs of Skylark's feeding franticly in the grass in search of food for their young. I'm hoping they have at least one more brood as I need to get some more close shots of these. Normally I can never get near them.

Found a pair in and out of the grass feeding on Saturday.
