AAP This was taken up on my patch. The farmer had ploughed a field and spread it with muck. I managed to get this shot through the car window, so not very close. One of very, very few pictures I've got of a Skylark.

Thought it was a Meadow Pipit, double checked, and it is a Skylark.

I had to look at this shot twice to realise that the Tail and Crest lined up perfectly giving this unusual shot.

I wasn't sure about this un at first, I thought the beak/bill didn't look right for a Skylark?

Another from my `Pre-Ken`visit to Trefil last week.He is coming up Sunday so hopefully the birds will perform as well as they did for me.

Hope to get out & about during the week, need to get some fresh bird photo's. Wonderful to hear the sound of the Skylark singing from a high, this one obliged by settling down for a few moments.

Great to see these back in the hills for the Summer.
