Nothing flashy about this bird, but very cool just the same. Another first for me, also taken in Montana.

A very confiding bird allowed me to get this close-up showing the wonderful camouflage that this species possess.

Not up to Tony Mahsleb's exacting standards but it's the closest view I have had of one recently. I assume it's a Common one (it probably is if I took it). Super little birds but they are so difficult to spot when they are hidden in the reeds. Ron

I was lucky that someone in the hide spotted these and pointed me in the right direction it took around ten shots to get a half decent one

Had a good day out with Dave (Copout) met Don ( Targy)on the Beach at Cleethorpes didnt get many pics but really had a good day.

Just about to leave the Island Mere hide when these 2 Snipe appeared and luckily walked towards Tony and I. I cheated on the shot as I took a photo of each whilst they stood there and pasted it together so I could get both sharp as dof is very shallow at this range.
