A fantastic little bird! :) Snow buntings don't often visit the South East of England so it was a real treat to see this confiding little chap. Can anyone confirm that this is a first winter male?

A Snow Bunting busy feeding along the Tide line they are very difficult to spot in this environment but there flight gives there position away.

It was a beautiful day today I got some shots of Snow Buntings on the beach.

Yes, it's no longer in my wish list but now shines in my life list! :-O And I saw not just one but about 30!!! o:) It surprised me the variety of colours and patterns shown depending on the sex and age, fantastic looking birds!!! :bounce: Here you have a handsome male but I'll share later some...
