A Song Thrush foraging on the path at Leathes Ham, Lowestoft. I have seen them there every time I have visited recently. I suppose there must be lots of tasty insects hiding in the chipped wood covering the path. Ron
I have promised myself to paint this Wisteria every year for the past few years and finally got around to it. I felt the markings of the Son Thrush balances the Wisteria, the Secret garden comes from the view through the keyhole. Its at A national trust garden in Cornwall
The light meant that I didn't get the image that I'd hoped for, but at least you can see what I saw|=)|
I heard this Song Thrush singing before my son had even parked the car. It never stopped during the hour and a half that I was at the Reservoirs, and it was still singing as we drove off...
I have had this shot lying around since Sept 'cos I could not make up my mind as to Mistle/Song.Posted it onto my FB page and Cristian came through to say it was a Song, and I had posted as Mistle,The spots looked too large for Song Thrush.Anyway here she is,almost a full frame shot.
This post is really to APOLOGISE for my lack of comments lately - for some reason BF is running very slowly for me these days and it is taking several minutes for images to load, almost unusable at times I am afraid.
The Song thrush image was from last winter BTW. I have removed a lot of clutter...
Well Peeps,
A great party weekend was had by all, still a few bodies laying around the house this morning. Two late nights for me, 2-30am Friday, 5-00am Saturday, then a session at the pub yesterday to top it all off. We even managed to keep the neighbours at the pub...
Came across this Song Thrush sitting on a post completely switched off feeding the youngsters had caught up with her and she was having a Nap, Every so often her Mouth would open and close still gripping the Caterpillar. I am told when I have a Nap in the Chair my Mouth does the same!!!!!!!!!!!
