    Introduced on Sulawesi and spreading northwards. Note that this subspecies has a yellow vent.

    Not many birds around in the heat of summer but there was a group of 4 Sooty-heads that entertained me for about 15 minutes before they too disappeared as the heat got up to 35c.

    No blind used but the bird came close to me by it self. I think it has a new hobby, man watching.

    There are more and more bulbuls in our garden. They seems to like the many fruit trees and insects in the garden.

    Back with digiscoping as well yesterday. These three were sitting on top of a basket in the middle of a small village farm plot about 15 meters away. They go down to water from this perch.
