    We're back and recovering from a 48 hour trip home! Not as many good photos as I had hoped - my 300 lens was in for repair and I borrowed a 100-400, which doesn't handle low light as well. I'll get back to browsing tomorrow.

    We were very lucky to see this roosting owl at Summit Ponds trail, near Gamboa, Panama, 3/05. d70, 80-400 VR, (like all these deep woods images, shot hand held, no flash, high ISO, around 1000 or 1600 I recall, but it doesn't include this in the Exif data - later on the trip I did try...
