spotted flycatcher

Taken horribly early in the morning.

Walking under this tree when I spotted this flycatcher with its large dinner.

Thanks to Adrian who lent me his spare 500mm lens - mind - so impressed was I -I bought it of him however he's a bit of a "Cardi" (Welshman who is tight fisted) cause he haggled up the price by 25BD

Have been struggling with finding the summer visitors lately but this was a most welcome surprise. Deep woodland with no light and a little way away but hopefully not the last time I see these little beauties.

This is the first Spotted Flycatcher seen by my this spring.

I Spotted this litte fella whilst getting yesterdays Blue tit image, he just popped in and popped out. So glad he did.

I would have liked it to be a better pic but it was cloudy and I know you will let me off coz I am so excited because I saw it! And if I knew how to do the bouncy smilie there would be 10 of them here, but as I can only do the wink, have one of them instead ;)
