I was told that most birders who see this species see it at this location. It's not the greatest image, but considering the overcast conditions and the skulking nature of the species, I"ll take it.
Indian Roller at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka. The indicus subspecies is rather common in the dry lowlands, but this beauty was the only one I met in 3 weeks on the island.

Only 1 pair seen of Red-faced Malkohas, feeding together, high in a tree at Sinharaja, Sri Lanka, at the outer edge of the rainforest.
They were very hard to see and photograph, due to dense foliage.
