After a long time I managed to visit our local park a couple of weeks ago. t was a cold and foggy morning but I decided to defy cold and I`ve been rewarded with the study of this Tawny owl.
First seen in flight, managed to locate it after it perched and this was a big crop as it was a good hundred yards away. It was also the second tawny we'd seen that morning

The light was rather poor, so I took a few pics handheld, using the largest available aperture (F5) with the 1.4x converter. After that, I got my tripod (the bird was at about 500 meters from my home) and I took some pictures without the converter (using also F5...
