This is Lake Michigan here in the U.S. It was made this morning at around 5:30 a.m.

This morning was the first day in months that showed a mix of clouds and sun. I had forgotten how much I missed sunrise photography.

Earlier on this evening went over to the local standing stones with Jonny Bonkers to get some sunset pics. As he was stood there taking some pics I noticed a lovely warm glow surrounding him - as it was a cold evening (nothing like last year's April weather issit?) I assume he had been eating...

Had a day off birding this weekend and went for a walk along my fave beach, Rhosilli on the Gower - great place to watch the sun go down.

So last week I posted the sunrise over Norfolk and this week the sunset, whats more unusual is these were taken on the same day, so early start as its @ 2 hours each way more surprisingly I had my daughter who is far from used to seeing both these in one day!! Promise no more landscapes (fingers...

The sunset was so glorious I photographed it. You can see the red sky reflected in the snow in the foreground. This shot is straight out of the camera--no color boost.

Taken from the bridge on the A1101 last night, 16th December. Again this was a question of being in place with the shot lined up, and waiting for the elements to come together. I got frozen!
