I think this is the last postworthy bird shot from that trip. Just a landscape and a couple of wildflowers left, then it's back to Europe. Oh, and Surfbirds were one of my lifers that trip, but I've posted some other shots of them already.

The first sight of Surf Bird this season and only 4 seen. For the pass 2 years, a flock of around a hundred was seen in Iona jetty in early Dec. They stay for only a few days. This year they are late, may be too cold.
