Many thanks to those who identified the last photo as a Red-Billed Tropicbird. The tail on this bird seems to identify it also as a Tropicbird. However a red beak is missing. Would someone like to suggest the missing hue to the bill? Many thanks, Iain

This gull species is the only one that goes out at night to feed at sea. It is endemic to the Galapagos Islands.
