Always nice to photograph Lapwings in flight and sometimes they come quite close.

I was struck when photographing this sleepy owl, how much the heart-shape of the owl's face resembles shape of the hole it's sitting in.

We've had a Treecreeper visiting almost daily to eat the crumbs under the coco-fat and seed cakes. No pictures of that one yet though.

Got a little closer this time. She's been visiting every day för the last week and last subday she started drumming. Hope she gets a response

Another Fieldfare in the snow but very different from last week's post.

I had 3 Osprey pictures I was thinking of posting: 1 with a bright blue sky in the background, 1 with a blue sky and white fluffy clouds and this one. I think this is the best picture but I might post one of the others later. They were all taken on the same day.

... and a Blue tit. I don't normally post pictures of our feeders but it feels really good to have this red-listed bird visiting daily. Still struggling to get decent pictures off the feeders though. She's fast. I think it might be the same female we had last spring. We're hoping a male will...

3 re-processed pictures from the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017 today. New pictures next time though. We had a light snowfall on Christmas Eve and a lot more snow fell yesterday.
