    Just got back from a 3 day trip to North Queensland. Got tons of Kingfisher shots (no Little unfortunately) but this one was definitely the main reason for going. I just wish I could have caught one in flight, the streamer tail looks absolutely amazing.

    This beautiful kingfisher and its mate were making regular trips to feed their chicks in a hole in a termite mound on the ground. Difficult to photograph well since it is very dark under the rainforest canopy. Also known as White-tailed Kingfisher.
