Never Had Any Idea We Were Taking Pics Birders,

Mr & Mrs Tawny have been calling from the trees around the garden for a couple of months and we've only had a near-darkness fly past. The jays and crows harass them regularly during the day and I finally managed to get a (second-division) shot

I have been in the Park two weeks ago, but I didn`t have any possibility to work in colour then due to the lack of time. As soon as I saw that the weather is gonna be cold but fine today, I didn`t miss the chance to work with Gouache outdoors again and I`ve been rewarded with this study.

A Tawny owl study painted on location in Nymphenburg park-Munich, few days ago. It was much hotter than expected and I had to battle against waps and other annoying insects not to mention the sun..

Saw this Tawny at the top of a tree with two Juveniles a few trees beyond.

Saw my tawny owl again today. It was resting in the same tree where I saw it two days ago.

This morning I was woken by a tawny owl, calling from the garden. Got up quickly and managed to take a few photos of it, just in time before a couple of crows chased it away.

Once again, a Tawny owl life study, but this time an individual I haven`t seen for the last two years, and haven`t painted or sketched before.

A new watercolour study of the Tawny owl close to the main water channel painted a couple of days ago in the park. Didnt have the best conditions to work outdoors, it was cold and foggy, but eventually I managed to finish the picture.

Flitting between the branches, trying out its newly acquired flight feathers.
