Last sunday I spent a few hours in a hide placed on a side of a pond. Many teals were floating all over, but there was one standing on a branch right in front of me, so close that I could really fill the entire frame of my camera...and enjoy the wonderful colors of his plumage!
I've been trying to get some similar shots of Shoveler but it's only these guys and Mallard that are coming close at the moment. Fingers crossed for the weekend.
