A drake Teal on the scrape at Minsmere. About a month ago this was a dry 'desert' of cracked mud, due to the exceptionally dry summer which we have had (honestly!) It's amazing what a difference a few days of rain have made. Ron
Three Teal (Teals?) taking it easy at Strumpshaw Fen. There were loads of these lovely little ducks to choose from but most of them were of the 'headless' variety. Ron
