One of my Fav Ducks.

Ignore the pun in the title, I'm having one of my terns (ugh). Seriously, Teal are really gorgeous seen close up and in sunshine.

A drake Teal on the scrape at Minsmere. About a month ago this was a dry 'desert' of cracked mud, due to the exceptionally dry summer which we have had (honestly!) It's amazing what a difference a few days of rain have made. Ron

Used the RH method of exposure. Turned out overexposed even though histogram indicated that it was okay.

The birds come very close on the Lagoon here but you can only photograph them through glass.
