    We saw a flock of them on a tree near Playa de Las Vistas. It's a Neotropical parrot which occasionally has populations in the Old World.

    Las Lajas picnic site, N of Vilaflor, is the best place to get good views/shots. Go before mid morning when birds are more active. This one was eating a Canary Pine seed - their main diet. Blue Tit, Canary, Tenerife Kinglet, GS Woodpecker are also easily seen here.
