My Garden friend, finally got some to perch on my own branch ! I have a brambling also coming to the feeders but not yet perched.

I got about 13 of these little chaps in my back garden, I've been living here for just over a year, this is the first time trying to photograph them ! They are so stubborn they will not land on my perch????? Very Frustrating :)

I have seen a number of these lately and I have enjoyed every sighting.

Not very sharp but i like the bird .

This bird (Passer Montanus, Tree Sparrow) has become very usual nowadays. The photo september 2007, Punkaharju, Finland. Backyard.

I must try to get some pics of these birds with a less cluttered background. Often the problem with shots from a raised hide...

With the evergreen shrub and a bit of that rare thing called the SUN makes me happy.

Another shot from a sequence of Tree Sparrows shot at the 'new' hide at Attenborough nature reserve. I was there watching and hoping to get pictures of a Red Necked Grebe that was there all last week. While I waited for it to come close enough, I watched a variety of Tree Sparrows, Finches...

While waiting for the red necked grebe to come near, I kept myself amused by photographing the tree sparrows queueing for the feeding station.

Not sure if the Irish among us will take the meaning of the title another way! I wasn't meant that way, honest! ;) Having only seen 1 tree sparrow prior to this trip to Belvide, I was pleasantly surprised when a flock of them swarmed towards the feeders!

One of a flock noisily feeding on Saturday morning. These are the first ones I have had a clear view of, and they make their house-named counterparts seem a bit grey in comparison. Share the same traits of feeding in mass though!

I have been weeks now without seeing a Blue sky,i suppose this is one of the joys of living on the east coast of the U.K. roll on Summer.
