Photo taken in the spring of 2007 near to Nottingham, the first time I had seen a Tree Sparrow.

This bird very obligingly posed just outside the hide window - and most of the occupants ignored him!

Not the sharpest photo ever taken, a grab shot through the lounge wiindow, but the first Tree Sparrow seen in our garden glad to say its been back several times since and has brought a friend too.

The tree sparrows mixed with superb light make a wonderful combination. They are one of my favourite birds. Hope to be back online very soon.

The Tree Sparrows were very active and so proved quite difficult to capture. Especially as they were in and out of the bushes making focussing quite hard.

These birds are rare in my neck of the woods but i do think they are increasing ,do hope so i really do like them

A Tree Sparrow with an attitude

A bit dull this morning but nice to get out to see the birds amongst the autumn colours

Made my first visit to Belvide today - and really enjoyed this delightful place which was not too far from my home. I went to see the Long-eared Owl and after a great deal of struggling managed to get a glimpse of a few feathers in a rather dense tree!! However the Tree Sparrows really...

in country they are begun to see the juv. of tree sparrow that they are been born this year. they are independent and they gather in rowdy groups much. this ind. it still has the lateral part of the beak yellow

This is the first time I have seen a Tree Sparrow in my garden at the feeding station.

This is one of the Tree Sparrows from the colony that live at Blacktoft Sands. Until 6 months ago I had never knowingly seen a Tree Sparrow but I now get them regularly in my garden.

Don't know if he was eating the sloe flowers or still collecting nesting material...?
