If my ID is correct this is Certhia familiaris. It is the longer hind toe that made me consider this ID.
Despite my close position near the tree I did not saw the bird. It was my doughter that showed it to me. Luckily I could take some photos.
I couldn't get very close to this un, but it was great fun trying to keep up with it as it foraged up a tree trunk. Not as good as the Oak Wood Creepers, but it was great to see.
