Havent uploaded one of these in a while. Taken at Kens back in January.

If my ID is correct this is Certhia familiaris. It is the longer hind toe that made me consider this ID. Despite my close position near the tree I did not saw the bird. It was my doughter that showed it to me. Luckily I could take some photos.

Seen locally - a rare bird on my patch

Just managed to get a couple of shots of this creeper while on one of my long walks. Thanks to my wife who spotted it for me.

I couldn't get very close to this un, but it was great fun trying to keep up with it as it foraged up a tree trunk. Not as good as the Oak Wood Creepers, but it was great to see.

Taken from the car park at RSPB Wolves Wood, actually there were Nuthatches, Treecreepers, GS Woodpecker, Marsh Tits all visible from the carpark
