Had a fab day down Kens yesterday with Alan (Valley Walker) and my daughter Bethan.Had superb views of these guys all day and was glad to get a few pics of them.Cheers Ken!
Did not realize I had this till it came through briely during the download, ther were anotther 250 images to go and you know how slow raw image take, so waited age's to see if it was any good!! well it was was for me, definitely did the happy dance..

Down feeding the birds for Christmas yesterday, really dull and dreary,Sods law but who put on a wonderful show for me was this Creeper, no option but to set 1000 asa 1/ 100 f8, this is the best I could with it,,, Merry Christmas day to you all Ken.
Last one - honest! Yesterdays was of it holding a sunflower heart in the end of it's beak. I missed the 'flip' but here it's in the crook of it's bill. ooks like it's tongue is doing a bit of readjustment before swallowing it hole.
The Treecreeper is still a regular visitor at the feeding station on my local patch. Occasionally it takes a peanut but mostly it goes for the sunflower hearts I put out. Having grabbed one it siddles backwards down the feeder tree trunk, flips up the heart and swallows it whole. Just...
