Tropical Parula (Setophaga pitayumi subsp. pacifica) Photographed at Chaparr Lodge, a private ecological reserve, ca. 60-70 km east of Chiclayo, Lambayeque Department, Peru. Equatorial dry forest composed of desert scrub and cacti at ca. 29 m (95 ft) elevation.

This accidental bird has been hanging around since 18 June, who knows how much earlier. First state record, only a few United States records.
