The Ferruginous Duck is believed to be the "Dorney bird". It has more black on it's bill than you would expect, and is likely to have had a captive origin.
I like Tufted Ducks. They always look so happy and friendly. I think they should give counselling classes to Greenfinches. This pair seems to be enjoying the sunshine on the scrape at Minsmere. Ron
