Not the best of light the day I took this but just managed to get the light to show up the beautiful colours you dont often see in the tufted duck.

Very cold and overcast day, last day of the Great Backyard Bird Count. Female Cardinals and Tufted Titmice are among the more peaceful birds around here. They are gentle, obliging, and willing to share. From 12:42 pm this afternoon, just 2 hours before it started snowing.
