Walking home from the park, ready to put the camera away and get some stuff done when I see this flicker on the very top of the roof at the front of my home.

As I was walking home from Jefferson Park I was making a few last photos when this lovely bird showed up. I've seen Cooper's hawks a few times in past weeks but never close and always to the west in the last light before sunset, which can make for great silhouettes...
