Bombs away!

Herring Gull close up
The bird was so close that at shortest focal length I could only get the head of the bird, it did mean that I captured the nictitaing membrane moving across the eyeball.- Keith Dickinson

The houses which front onto the canal on the opposite side to the towpath have private boat mooring privileges.
