Hello everyone. I'm getting quite attached to Warblers, maybe it's because they make me work at catching them through my lens? I'm looking forward to May where this one (well, not exactly this one!) will be looking for a mate and singing its little heart out. Wishing you all a great weekend.
I remember this little chap. I'd been out on the hunt and found nothing, I was on my way home when I spotted him. I stopped, he disappeared, then re-appeared and very kindly sat for me. It made my day.
n.b. I lost a few comments from this post in the 'big crash of 2013'. I hope I didn't miss...
Orange-crowned Warbler (Oreothlypis celata)
This photo was taken around 7:00PM at my backyard. I was shooting some Robins when my wife pointed to me this constantly moving little bird on our maple tree.
A first for me on our birding day last Tuesday. This lovely, not so, little warbler was happy flitting in and out of the reed beds just in front of the hide.
