one of very few species that actually migrate north during fall and winter so now is the right time to look for them in Sweden. A great rarity for me.

Well Peeps, Its an early post and run from me this morning...We are off over the border to Norfolk today. Only staying with Lynsey and Dan for a couple of days, before heading back to Hastings with them on friday night...See y'all later.

Very good chance to see Water Pipits just a few miles away from the Buff-bellied Pipit site.

This individual was fpund in a small stream up in the hills towards Granada. It was very cold! the nearby lake had frozen margins.

Water Pipit, resident for some time at Marazion beach, but every time you get near him he just hops across the stream ..

Water Pipit..Fluffed up! Think Anthus s coutellii...
