I make no apologies for posting another shot of this elusive bird taken yesterday, it was a real pleasure to see it.

Taken today at Moore a fist for me and it was an amazing bird.

another great one i have just started spotting this year my birding skills are getting better i think and not as shy as i thought infact they just go about their business once you find them and stay still lol.

Well Peeps, I spent 7 hours in the 3 hides at Holme yesterday. It was great to be out, and in good company too. Not a whole load of pics, but a few to share with you from my day out...It was so windy here overnight, and its still rough out there, but Hazel and I are off to Titchwell this...

Water rail, first one I've seen on my local patch. I'd like to say I found it but someone in the hide drew my attention to the bird. So nice to see one out in the open though. 100% crop

Seeing this secretive bird always tests your patience, but it usually does pays off with views like this!

i had to share another capture of my water rail.i see it quite alot now i know where to look but have not managed another capture as it spots me too.

hi.not been on for a few days hubby was ill but fine now.got this one the other day on my local pond,knew we had some here but this is my first time seeing them here and it showed rather well as i was lying in the snow hiding from it.
