    As I hiked back to the where I'd parked my car, alongside Hagley Park, I passed some Welcome Swallows hunting over a meadow. Now and then they would land on some fence posts there - never on the one closest to where I stood, obviously, but I think this was the best Welcome Swallow shot I got on...

    I managed to visit Eynesbury and found this beauty sitting on the decking over-looking the lake waiting to be fed. One of many younsters, how on earth do the babies know which is mum or dad out of the dozens flitting around skimming the lake for food :) Hope you all enjoy!
