this swallow took a rest about 20 ft (6.5metres) from my car in light rain today. I thought I would use the full extent of the zoom so cranked it out to 60x for this head shot.- Neil

this is one of a pair that were building a nest under the balcony of the cafe at the wetlands that I go to near Newcastle (Australia). As I was leaning on the railing and watching the ducks in the main pond it flew onto the railing beside me. I had to back up to get focus.- Neil
