Enjoying the sunshine on the beach. A bit like us, after a shower had caught us away from the shelter of the car.

Took so many pics of these as they perched close to me, on the beach and surrounding rocks.

This little fella kept me company for over an hour, catching bugs was not worried by me one little bit!

Came so close I struggled to fit it all in a shot, so went for a portrait instead.

Several of these around on the beach that day, coming pretty close at times. I hoped one might grace such a perch, and moments later one did!

A trip to see Widgeon and teal was unsuccessful regarding the ducks - they were too far away, but this chap obligingly perched on a fence post and didn't seem to be concerned about my prescence

Back from my two week holiday in Cornwall, managed a few bird shots while there....this one though is from a visit to my local patch yesterday, where I got a few distant shots of a first ever visit from a Cattle Egret!

well my friends decided to take buster for a different walk this morning around the three sister nature reserve near ashton,and so glad i did,spotted this beauty in one of the meadow walks and thanks to cristian for help with the id,hope you like,john.
