Plenty of flight shots of these on the site but not many showing the bird from the top . Not a good capture but shown for this variation in profile.

This bird sat in a tree above our boat as we cruised Yellow Waters in Kakadu.

On the Yellow Waters cruise we had good views of the Eagle.

Another raptor found on our tour of the Noosa River was this White-bellied Sea-eagle, perched high lording over its domain.

An all-day trip from Darwin to Corroboree Billabong on the Mary River between Darwin and Kakadu National Park provided many top sightings and photos, none more that the many raptors including this White-bellied Sea-Eagle.

My Grandson and I had only just stepped out of the car when this Sea-Eagle wheeled around overhead

Over the Wetlands again the arvo with my (Good luck Talisman)7 yr old Grandson Jamal , when we saw a flock of Ducks , Pelicans etc put to air by this Sea -Eagle. Suddenly it folded it's wings and dived past the flock of Ducks but too far away to see the hit. I knew the tree where it sat to feed...

A magnificent pair of Sea Eagles also graced the skies and passed us by, calling constantly.

Sorry for the quality but really too far away for my lense. Take my word for it this fish was huge.

In this part of Australia Sea Eagles tend to be scarce and very skittish so this raptor was a gift from the powers that be (whomever they are). :-)

Participated in an Orange Bellied Parrot survey on the weekend. Unfortunately no sightings. I did however add 5 birds to my list. This is one of the shots I grabbed along the way. 'Technical' details of getting shot: I was slowly driving 4 other people around the treatment plant with my camera...

Hi all, just had to share this....I haven't been able to go out as have had a few problems with my family but today Pete and I made up a picnic and went down to the sea. the same place that we went on that awful Saturday....the birdbaths got filled with water as soon as we got there and I left...

Taken on a recent trip to Walpole in the south West of WA. This one let me get quite close until it took off.

If this bird had maintained its course for another two seconds I am sure it would have collided with my Camera
