Went to work early and set up on a dead tree in the edge of the woods. Shot from my SUV using a beanbag. The distance was more than I wanted so I set the camera to 1.5 crop, it was cloudy and warranted high ISO but I was fairly pleased.
About a week ago, a pair of nuthatches discovered the suet feeder. Here is the female on the tree trunk, awaiting her turn while the titmouse was feeding.
Watched this one on a pecan tree going up and down getting pieces of pecan that the squirrel left. Then it would go up the tree and stuff the pieces in between the bark. Kept is up for a good while.
