Just about starting to develop plumage of an adult. A very shy bird. Hides from humans even with the slightest hint of them. Got this shot after many attempts.
Had seen this one in a small wet grassland some time back, but could not get to photograph it. Disappears into the undergrowth quickly as it is very shy and evasive. Got lucky this time around. A lifer.
