love the changes here in BF congrats to everyone. this is my first upload for the new look, really very user friendly. Hope you like it.
White-spectacled bulbul,
when i throw the little seeds of the Millet for my garden birds, some find there way to the soil and grow like this and become more attractive to most of the birds than my feeders.
hope you like it.
My first meeting...
We call them "cage runner" like Alexander Parakeets, Rose-ringed Parakeet and Common Myna. White-spectacled Bulbuls breed in the wild for many years at the south of Turkey.
and his Dad/Mom. love how these clever bird take care of there young ones. one can hear them before sunrise singing to it or maybe teaching it to sing.
this particular type of bulbuls have the most wonderful song compared to the other 6 types of bulbuls i have seen.
hope you like it.
this pretty and clever birds are widely distributed in Israel and become yard-birds. Bulbuls can been seen together with Sparrows and Сollared Doves near homes and they attract attention by their chatter
wish i could get him a week or two younger. anyway he'she still pretend he can't feed by himself when Mom'Dad is around.
thanks for viewing, hope you enjoy it.
the pair of bulbuls are the only ones who can control things when the weavers and sparrows go wild on the feeder.
these beauties will soon start to make there nest and have little one by March, on this time no shrike will be able to stay in the garden more then a day if he is lucky.
Hope you...
got two visitors in my garden, early migrants, as usual the common whitethroat, the race that you don't have in Europe, and a bird that i only hear its call did not see it yet. wonder when the Shrike and rollers will start to show.
this young now got more yellow in its vent.
hope you like
LOL once upon a time i wanted to get a hasselblad.
anyway only last week i discovered that i got two pairs of bulbuls, and this was because of this juvenile.
the first pair had there little one last month, and this pair had this one just out of the nest, not looking that handsome, but soon...
last week in one day the winds was so strong that the bulbul nest fell down and an egg shell was inside it, felt a bet sad, but i thought its was late, and the young should be out of the nest, the answer came to me on Monday when i first saw him.
here he is on the right with Mom/Dad after they...
the pair got a nest in the almond tree above this old swing. so when they want to rest they come to perch on the swing bar.
long time ago i posted a similar shot for a bulubl on the same place.
