Sunny today and I took lots of pictures of Goldfinches but I haven't processed them yet so 2 pictures frn 14th May instead. I redid them both from the RAW images just to keep my hand in.

More of a habitat shot with a bird in it really but I rather like it.

Spent a lot of time on Landsort chasing after Linnets and Whitethroats.

My apologies for my lack of activity and comments lately, we're are packing ready to move in a week or so and it's causing major disruption, especially in the computer room, which is rapidly becomming filled with dismantled furniture and boxes etc! Luckily i've still got a backlog of pics to...

First one I've seen this year!

This is how I'm more used to seeing them, behind twigs and stuff.

Mostly they were behind a lot of twigs or else they flew off. We had a great weekend in Eastern Sweden. Didn't see so many birds apart from a lot of Common Buzzards on the way home but saw an Adder and a Grass Snake and got my first really good pictures of a Hawker (so far unidentified).

Been chasing these around a lot this summer. Off to Eastern Sweden this evening to celebrate a double 50th birthday party so no more posts until Monday.
