I went out this morning hoping to get some better shots of a Whitethroat. I spent a good hour playing hide and seek with a few candidates. The place was alive with Whitethroats bursting into 'song flight' and dropping back down onto their patch. I lay in wait for this guy to land on his singing...

Spent a lovely early morning on my local patch, plenty of warblers around. Yesterday a Cuckoo was photographed here, shame I was somewhere else.

A beautiful day watching all the returning warblers singing atop the scrub. Hard to get them to sit still but this one posed for a few seconds.
