Really fond of these Warblers ,not easy to capture but with patience and insight into their behaviour it becomes easier. Caught this one singing away in the late evening sunshine.

A male Whitethroat taken near my house on Cannock Chase.

Popped over the bridge last week to see if the whitethroats had fledge yet. Captured this parent still feeding the nestlings. Chuffed because this is the first image I have of one with grub in its beak. Quite a crop.Taken on a very window but sunny day.

My wife & I are off on our annual holiday, to North Wales & later Mid Wales this morning, so I shall not be on the forum for awhile. I leave you with this Whitethroat image captured on a walk yesterday, not my best, but it is heavily cropped. Best of luck all, happy birding
