Wigeon just got back from a 4hr stint in the hut what ive seen today you can count on one hand thawing out now (MAYBE STOP MOANING ABOUT 9PM TONIGHT LOL).
Just a few of the many hundreds of Wigeons which spend the winter on Buckenham Marshes by the River Yare in Norfolk. It's a spine tingling experience to hear them whistling as the icy wind blasts its way across the bleak marshes. Ron
One of a series of shots taken yesterday at Scalby Mills, Scarborough in a brief 30 minute window of sunshine in otherwise unremitting gloom! Trying to get close to these elusive ducks has always been a headache but now with the Skywatcher scope I can stay at 50yds+ and not spook them.
