A Willow Warbler singing from the tree tops at Strumpshaw on Saturday. I could hear loads of these but this was the only one I found out in the open and even then it was against a bright sky. Ron
Here's another one of yesterday's reward for patience. Technically not such a good shot - there's a branch casting a shadow across his head, and he's not sharp enough in focus for me to crop my way in closer. But I love the pose: He's really leaning into his warble, getting downright operatic.
