I've been trying to get a picture of this speedy Wood Mouse for ages. It's the sweetist little thing and darts up the trunk of the small tree, where I hang this feeder, and into the cage. Today, it sat there for a food 10-15 minutes filling up on goodies. The only thing that scared it away was...

I was standing at the kitchen door waiting to take some shots of birds in my garden when this cute little chap suddenly appeared. Judging by the big eyes and ears and the brown coat and white breast I think it is probably a Wood Mouse. Unless anyone knows otherwise. Ron

Spotted this little fellow sat on the bird table eating the seed. Photographed from around 10m range. I tried to get closer and up some steps to get a bit higher but it scampered off.

A wood mouse climbed six feet up an ivy clad trellis to get to this peanut feeder. Once discovered, it became a daily visitor.
